Kyle joined Serve Wisconsin as our Community Engagement Specialist in November 2018 after relocating to the Madison area. Before joining Serve Wisconsin, Kyle taught history and government in California and Missouri, spending over a decade teaching the value of active citizenship and global awareness. Additionally, Kyle gained valuable insights into the impacts of active citizenry and programs on communities and conducting outreach to inform and engage the public during his work for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Missouri before becoming a teacher. After years of emphasizing how we can make a difference for our fellow citizens to his students in the classroom, Kyle was excited to bring these passions and experience to Serve Wisconsin and promote the work done by our AmeriCorps members and programs. When not in the office, Kyle enjoys spending his time playing and reading with his two children and competing in racquetball and curling leagues.
